CBD FAQs: Dosage, Drug Tests, THC-Free & More | EarthE CBD
Our products are made from hemp and contain less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight, as federal law currently requires. Hemp laws differ from state to state and are changing, so please check the rules where you live before ordering. We only ship products to states where they are allowed.
Start low and go slow. Begin with the smallest serving listed on the label, give it time to take effect, and adjust from there. Everyone responds differently based on body weight, tolerance and the product type. Talk to your doctor before starting, especially if you take any medications.
Every batch of our products is third-party lab tested for potency and purity, and our products are made in the USA. We've been serving customers since 2016, and you can visit our store in Fletcher, North Carolina for one-on-one guidance from our team.
Divide the total milligrams by the bottle size in milliliters to get the amount per mL. A standard dropper holds about 20 drops per mL.
Example: a 2,000mg, 30mL bottle has about 66.7mg per mL, or roughly 3.3mg per drop.
Milligrams (mg) tell you how much cannabinoid is in a product. The number on the front of a package is usually the total for the whole bottle or bag. The serving size on the label tells you how much is in each gummy, capsule or dropper.
Taking more than you need won't give you better results and can cause side effects such as drowsiness, upset stomach, diarrhea or changes in appetite. Products that contain THC can also cause uncomfortable effects like anxiety, a racing heart or dizziness if you take too much.
Always follow the serving size on the label, start low, and wait for the full effect before taking more. Edibles can take 45 minutes or longer to work. Keep all products out of reach of children and pets.
If you or someone else has taken too much and feels unwell, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 or seek medical care.
All three are cannabinoids found naturally in hemp, and none of them cause a high.
CBD (cannabidiol) is the most common and the most widely studied.
CBG (cannabigerol) is sometimes called the "mother cannabinoid" because other cannabinoids develop from it as the plant grows.
CBN (cannabinol) forms as THC ages, and is often included in evening blends.
Our CBD, CBG and CBN products combine all three in equal parts.
It depends on your routine. Many customers use CBD in the evening to wind down, while others prefer it during the day. Our Non-THC products are a good fit for daytime because they won't cause a high. Save products that contain THC for times when you don't need to drive or operate machinery.
Keep products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Close tincture caps tightly after each use, and don't leave gummies in a hot car, since they can melt and stick together. Always store products out of reach of children and pets.

It depends on the product:
Tinctures: Hold the drops under your tongue for 30 to 60 seconds before swallowing. Most people notice effects within 15 to 45 minutes.
Vapes: Effects are usually felt within a few minutes.
Gummies and capsules: These pass through digestion first, so allow 45 minutes to 2 hours. Wait before taking more.
Topicals: Apply directly to the area. Most people feel the cooling or warming sensation within minutes.

Full spectrum contains a range of hemp compounds, including small amounts of THC within the legal limit.
Broad spectrum keeps many of those hemp compounds but has the THC removed.
THC-free products, including our Non-THC line, are made without THC. Look for "Non-THC" in the product name.
CBD, CBG and CBN do not cause a high. Our Non-THC products are made for relaxation without any buzz. Products that contain THC can cause intoxicating effects, so check the product name and label before use.
CBD can interact with some prescription medications. Always talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using CBD if you take any medication. Do not use our products if you are pregnant or nursing.
Products that contain THC can cause a failed drug test. Our Non-THC products are tested to confirm they are THC-free, but no hemp product can guarantee a passed test. If you are subject to drug testing, talk to your employer or testing provider before use.
